Are you from the area or just from a small town? I have lived here all my life and love it. I read your bio, and though you have traveled much, we do have much in common. When you mentioned your grandmother, I had to take a moment. My grandmother meant so much to me and helped my single parent mother raise me. I would not trade either of them or their loving wisdom for the world.

You and I agree on our faith and the intrusive government. Thanks for responding. It is a pleasure to

"meet" you. Look to your heart, memories, and present and past blessings for contentment. I know they are there for you. Take Care!

Great hub Sholland !! Yes Branson is amazing. Got to see the thrilling Dixie Stampede show last year and took a trip back into history by a stirring and informative visit to the Titanic. If you haven't been yet, please go to the Pierce Arrow Show. The quartet features one of our local Missouri boys and also Tim Storms, the guy who holds the Guinness world record for the lowest bass ! The comedy is hysterical/rib splitting!! So wonderful to meet a friend through hubpages, who practically lives just "up the street" ! Keep hubbing !!!!

Thanks for visiting, Michele! I have gone to the Titanic - I am a history/genealogy nerd. I have been on the Branson Belle, but the show has changed since last Fall. Of course, with kids, Silver Dollar City and White Water are a must. I will have to try Pierce Arrow and the Dixie Stampede. :-)
